Christina Aguilera and son Max, 9 months, go trick-or-treating and attend a Halloween party on Saturday (October 31) in Los Angeles.
The mother-son pair dressed in skeleton costumes with eye patches. Skeleton pirates!
The 28-year-old songstress recently admitted that Max already loves music. “I play him Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones,” explains Christina. “‘And if Max wanted to have a music career for the same reason, then I would say, ‘Go for it’. I am really into encouraging him as an individual – whether he wants to be a vet, a scientist or a garbage man. As long as he has a passion for it.” More at the source

Christina Aguilera--Without You |
] |
I'll preface this entry by saying that I'm not even sure if it will be read, but I'm sure someone (Amanda!) will catch a glimpse.
It's funny how time elapses and we forget about once-favored things, but then something brings us back to them. That's how today was...
My friend Alec from NYC visited today. We met up and had lunch at the Harney Tea Shop, which was excellent as always. I haven't seen Alec in almost two years so we had a lot of catching up to do. The last time I saw him, it was a total coincidence when I was up in Ptown for a weekend in 2007. We had originally planned to get together in NYC about a month ago, but he had to cancel since work needed him for the entire weekend. So his visit today was to make up for that day. While we had nothing planned other than lunch, we managed to have a fun time just chatting, going for a drive, and finally watching the sun set while enjoying some MUCH anticipated affection. (I'm talking about years waiting for it!) So by all means, I'd say it was a day well spent.
Here's where I get lost in my head: I know I'm probably just still sour from a disappointing, long-winded, and lackluster romantic history, but I am a little afraid to actually like him. That being said: Our friendship has survived a good handful of years, roughly 5 or 6. We have endured losing contact for a year or two at a time, and we always come back like nothing can stand in the way. He was persistent on making up our previous plans to me, he took the day off from work just for me, willingly drove up here, and didn't resist any of our intimate affection. And to top it all off: still being interested after all these years?! I think it's a good sign...??
So now I'm stuck between being dangerously hopeful for more and being terrified that it could all be over in a flash. I guess time will tell and all I really know is that I am looking forward to seeing him again.
